Delivery Options
Standard Delivery
Standard Delivery is by Royal Mail 1st class post and is free of charge. We aim to despatch all goods within 24 hours of receipt of order. Most orders will be despatched on the same day for orders received before 3pm. Orders received at the weekend will be despatched the next working day. Please allow 3 - 5 working days for our standard delivery.
Priority Delivery
Priority Delivery is by 1st class post and is marked as priority, This option is only £1.99 and is available at our checkout. We aim to despatch all goods within 24 hours of receipt of order. Most orders will be despatched on the same day for orders received before 3pm. Orders received at the weekend will be despatched the next working day. Please allow 1 - 2 working days for our Priority delivery.
Courier Next Working Day Delivery
If you require a next working day courier delivery you can select this delivery option for £6.99 at our checkout. In the unlikely event of us not having your order in stock, we will contact you before 5PM to inform you of the actual delivery date, or allow you to cancel the order. You must be available to sign for the order between 9am to 5.30pm on the day of delivery. The daily cut off for next day courier delivery is 3pm.
Despatch Notification
If you have received an e-mail informing you of the despatch of goods you can be certain they are in transit. If you do not receive your goods within ten working days you should contact us. Over 40% of lost parcels are often just waiting to be collected from a neighbour or a local Royal Mail sorting office, so please check first. Compensation is limited to the cost of the goods ordered and will take the form of a replacement or a refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
VAT
Our prices shown on our web site include VAT where applicable. Goods sent to private individuals within the EU will attract VAT at the current UK rate. Goods sent to companies within the EU can be zero rated if a VAT registration number is supplied. We advise you to order by telephone, e-mail or fax if this applies to you.
Returns Policy
To return a faulty product you must first obtain a return authorisation number; this is obtained by emailing us at returns@smartinks.co.uk.
The following information must be included in the email; the reason for your return, your original order number or invoice number and the date of order. When you return your product please include the invoice with your return, and wrap the package securely. (Usually the packaging that they arrive in can be used for the return)
IMPORTANT: PLEASE SEND RECORDED DELIVERY ONLY. The maximum postage refunded for any recorded item will be £2.00. We will replace a faulty product or refund back your cost to your credit card if this is the option you select. Please note that our returns policy is only valid for 30 days from receipt of goods.

Refunds
You may return any unopened item within 14 days of receiving it, for a full refund. We will refund your credit/debit card once we have received and processed the item (please allow up to 14 days). Please note that we can only refund delivery costs if the return is a result of our error. Again, you must first obtain a return authorisation number; this is obtained by emailing us at returns@smartinks.co.uk.
Customer Support
smartinks.co.uk is an Internet trading company. We keep our pricing competitive keeping our costs down. Therefore our preferred method of communication with our customers is by email. We promise to reply to your emails by the next working day. Emails received at the weekend will be replied to, on the next working day (Excluding public holidays). Please email support@smartinks.co.uk or contact us via our "Helpdesk" icon. If, for any reason, email is not suitable for your enquiry, we can be contacted using the telephone on, 0845 527 9927. Calls will be charged at national rate.
We always send an e-mail to the e-mail address you submitted to inform you when your order has been despatched. If goods cannot be shipped within a reasonable time we will e-mail you to advise you of this and, if there is to be a delay, ask if you wish to continue with the transaction and offering you the opportunity to cancel or part-ship your order.
